So, I ask myself who is the most important person? ME. This is why I continue to go to Envive. It is more than I imagined. The Physical Therapy department provides a thorough evaluation, treatment and an excellent at home self care plan, making sure no pain goes unattended. Ryan Pope and Becky Lavendar have a genuine concern for my well being, while maintaining a healthy uplifting atmosphere. Ryan isn't just your average Physical Therapist. He is a Physical Therapist with a wealth of knowledge, compassion and concern for each patient. The team clearly knows the mechanics of the body. I have no desire to go elsewhere when everything I need is right here. Don't look any further than Envive for your physical therapy needs. My Doctor Prescribed Physical Therapy, Envive Provided That and More
I had never had a broken bone until January. I fell on the ice and broke the humorous bone in my left arm. The fracture was very near the top of the bone, almost at the shoulder. There wasn't much the doctor could do, except immobilize the whole arm. The first week, I wasn't to use the arm at all. The second week I could move my hand and at the third week I was to intermittently remove the sling and move the arm at the elbow. I started hearing phrases like "frozen shoulder" and when my doctor prescribed Physical Therapy to promote movement in my shoulder, I was willing to try it. I did not have any experience with P.T. and Envive did not come immediately to mind, however, I had a good experience there for some minor lower back pain a couple of years ago so I made an appointment. From the very first visit and evaluation, I was treated with courtesy and genuine concern. I began treatment and things only got better. The Physical Therapists were kind and encouraging. Every appointment was a confidence booster. They provided the motivation, direction and the tools that I needed to do my "homework". I cannot say that the exercises that needed to be done at home were fun. They were not and without the people at Envive to guide and give me fortitude I don't think I could have stayed the course. My arm is now fully functional and I know that I owe it to the patience and expertise of the staff at Envive. Thank You! ~Deb
